It is an honor to welcome all of you and congratulate you on being a part of this social event on behalf of the midwifery department. I would like to introduce the midwifery department, which is the backbone of providing maternal and child health care services. Department of Midwifery is one of ten undergraduate programs in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Six batches have graduated since the department's launch in 2012. 198 undergraduate students are enrolled with us at this time. 33 employees work in the department as well; twenty-five are lecturers, Three are assistant professors, Five are lab assistants, and One is secretary.
