The academic field of Public Administration is one of the fields of inquiry and area of training at Wachemo University. As such, the teaching and learning of the Public Administration program started at Wachemo University in the early 2015s G.C. This was four years after the establishment of Wachemo University. The department launched its program with nearly seventeen regular program students and a few instructors. Subsequently, it expanded the number of sections in each batch. Currently, it has more than ten competent instructors, some with a Master's Degree and others with the status of Assistant. Prof. Also, the department has two programs (Degree and Masters Programs), each with separate admissions: Regular, Extension (Weekend and Night), and Summer.
