The curriculum in the English program has been prepared to guide students through well-established linguistic and academic courses to obtain efficient and productive citizens in the future. The undergraduate program introduces students to the full breadth of independent thinking and self-expression in the oral and written modes of the English language. The ultimate goal of Postgraduate is also to help students to be critical thinkers and researchers in the area. Outstanding students are offered to work as Teaching Assistants in the Department.
The Department has a lot of roles in accordance with the vision and mission of Wachemo University in establishing quality education and taking up scientific research programs in the university. It also serves all university students who enter as freshmen through its gateway, as each student is required to take 6 credits of English courses, which are taught in accordance with their proficiency level in English.
Therefore, I am thrilled to represent this forthcoming Department, which is dedicated to providing quality education, producing qualified manpower, conducting problem-solving research, and providing community services. I hope everybody will give constructive ideas for the raised questions in different directions and explore our Department. Please visit our website and explore our Department.
