Recycling of Municipal organic waste

Statement of the problem

The main reasons for this proposal are the following:

The Vermicomposting process is not yet well practiced and stepped up in Ethiopia tohandle organic municipal wastes and to produce valuable organic fertilizer-compost.

Toensure environmental security, and minimize economic burden in purchasing imported fertilizer, farmers need to practice composting and utilizing compost as a supplement to fertilizer.
