Objectice of The Study
The general objective of this study is to investigate the household’s willingness to pay for
urban agriculture and environmental amenities
Specific objectives
i. Assessing the current potential of environmental amenities and urban agriculture
in the town
ii. Examining the factors that affect households demand for environmental amenities
iii. Estimating residents willingness to pay for environmental amenities
iv. Investigating the effect of urban agriculture on employment creation, urban food
supply and environmental services
v. Estimating households willingness to pay for well maintained urban agricultural
service
