Department of Hadiya Language & Literature (DHLL)
Objectives
to equip students with basic Hadiya language skills and knowledge needed for a variety of purposes;
to equip students with knowledge of how human language functions or the scientific study of language;
to widen students’ horizons of appreciating, producing and criticizing literary works of Hadiya Language;
to offer practical courses that seek to develop the students as effective professionals by providing them with knowledge and awareness of their future career environment;
to enable students to conduct research to solve problems in their field of study (of Hadiya language and literature, public relations, translation, etc);
to provide students with basic language skills and knowledge for career and further university study; and
to create good governance in the department with accountability and assures participation continuously.
