The major objective of Continuing Education Program Office is to create opportunities of education and training for individuals in order that their quest for knowledge and career development is met. The followings are some of the major objectives of the program:

• Increasing opportunities for evening and distance learning by way of diversifying provisions and areas of specialization
• Providing quality education to the community at their convenient time out of regular program of course delivery with reasonable tuition fee
• Contributing human capacity building for government and non-government organization seeking in-service training without flaking from their career.
• Enhancing the capacity of university staff members by providing quality of education
• Providing education and training for professionals in the various sectors of the economy, government and social services
• Playing important role in generating income to the university at greater level
• Developing collaborative programs with the business community, government agencies, and non-profit corporations to enhance economic development and the quality of life
