Objective of the project Remittance and policy impact

I. To emphasizes the Ethiopian initiative to harmonies and improve remittances data collection and formal flow of channels on the rural and urban Remittance at the household level.

II. To investigate opportunity for improving the remittance market and boundaries of Remittance investment in the study areas.

III. To examine the effect of Remittance on poverty and linkage with other source of capital.

IV. To develop remittance flow models (collaborating with diaspora in order invest in their home land) and thereby indicates the implications for future government policy planning and management of Migrant and non-migrant remittance.
