Background of department
The department of plant science is the pioneer department that has laid the foundation of teaching and research in crop science at the university. It was established in then College of Agricultural Science in 2005. It began training for BSc degrees in regular and weekend programs.
Besides of teaching undergraduate courses, the academic staff of the department is successfully running large number of research and serving communities.
