The mission of the department is to produce qualified and competent professionals in Public Administration and Development Management. Using solid multidisciplinary training and a practical vocation, this department develops the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and practical experiences of students required to assume administrative positions and research and consultancy projects in government, non-governmental agencies, academic institutions, and, to some extent, business organizations.

The Department of Public Administration and Development Management aspires to be the number one choice of students in Wachemo University by 2024.
